Fulfilment Charges can be overwhelming!
Understanding all the costs involved when you outsource pick and pack to a fulfillment company can be a bit tricky.
Here are two case studies to illustrate fulfilment costs for different business types
Business A sells Protein Powder in large plastic bottles, typically one per customer
Product weighs 750g and measures 20cmx10cmx10cm
In one month they generate 50 orders and store 200 bottles and require anonymous environment friendly cardboard packaging
Fulfilment costs:
50 orders x £2.61 = £130.50
Packaging costs: 50 orders x 75p = £37.50
Storage costs: 200 x 0.07 cubic feet = 14.12 cubic feet x 48p per cu.ft = £6.77 per month (actually, this will be less as storage is charged weekly and therefore reduces as the number of products are sold)

Packaging costs: 100 x 75p = £75.00
Storage costs: 2.6 cubic feet x 48p per cu.ft = £1.28 per month (actually, this will be less as storage is charged weekly, so reduces as the number of products are sold)
